Pricing:

We maintain a competitive pricing policy, VAT will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of sale. Prices of goods stated on the web site may be subject to changes. In such a case we will make you aware of this as soon as reasonably practicable and a full refund will be given, if required.

The total cost of your order is the price of the goods together with delivery charges. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur.

If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. Title of all goods supplied shall rest with the company until payment has been received in full.

Payment by Cheque:

Please note that if a personal cheque is sent to us for payment we reserve the right to wait for the cheque to clear before mailing the order.

Scents and Scentsibilty has made every effort to ensure that all product information held on this website is accurate. Some information, including images and specification, are derived from third party sources such as manufacturers.

Colours are representative and may not reflect exact shades, colour differences can occur in any product when it is being viewed and compared on a computer screen. Colours are subject to change. We reserve the right to change and remove any item from the catalogue at any time.

Faulty merchandise:

If a fault is discovered in a finished product and this is not due to the way the product has been handled, stored, or displayed by the customer, a replacement product will be exchanged for the faulty product or a refund given if required. 

Payment refunds will not be made (unless the transaction has been concluded over the Internet and the conditions noted below relating to the return of goods have been adhered to). Claims for damages or shortages must be submitted in writing or by phone 0845 226 6915 within seven days beginning with the day after the goods are received (email notification is acceptable). Please include the Order ID and date the order was placed.

Returns:

If, when your purchase arrives, it is not satisfactory or quite what you required, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to seven working days after the day on which you receive the goods. We reserved the right not to accept returns that are in any way damaged or have been opened.

Any items that are damaged in transit must be returned to us immediately. A replacement will be sent along with a refund for any postage costs incurred by the customer. Your advice by email as to the problem would be appreciated under these circumstances.

Undelivered Items:

If, for whatever reason, a parcel is returned to us undelivered, we will keep the parcel for 1 month before disposing of it. If requested by the customer, we can either re-deliver for a further postal charge equivalent to the original amount or we can, providing the goods reach us in a resalable condition, issue a refund less the original cost of shipping.

Lost items:

We always obtain proof of postage to the buyer’s address. In the event that your item should go missing we will do the following:

Your claim will always be investigated by Royal Mail for it’s legitimacy and to guard against fraud.

When the item has been missing for 30 days in the UK or 45 days for the rest of the world, we will provide Royal Mail with‘Lost Post’ form on your behalf. This normally takes 2-3 weeks to process after which, if they accept liability, a replacement will be dispatched.

International and European Orders

Shipments outside the UK may be subject to tariffs, duties, value added tax (VAT), etc.
Please note: Due to aviation regulations we are unable to send pressurised containers to International & European destinations

Be aware that if you refuse a package that has been received by customs because you will not pay the tariffs or taxes, we will refund you the cost of the product after charging you for the shipping and additional fees required to return the package to us.

Shipping Costs Explained

Standard postage cover weights up to 2 Kg.

If your order exceeds 2kg, we will inform you of any extra shipping charges applicable.

Included in our shipping rates are packaging costs, staff costs to pick, pack and send your order, bank credit and debit card charges, postage costs and VAT.
